I stopped setting goals in 2025.

Not because I gave up. Because they were making me miserable.

January 2025: Made a list. Grow the newsletter. Hit revenue targets. Launch new things. Post consistently.

December 2025: Missed every single one.

But built the best year I've ever had.

The difference:

Goals told me what to chase.

Systems told me what to build.

I missed my targets but built something sustainable.

Turns out hitting metrics is not building what matters.

So for 2026, I'm not setting goals.

I asked one question instead: "What actually matters?"

Grabbed a notebook. Wrote for 20 minutes.

The answer surprised me.

Not growth targets or revenue numbers.

"Own my attention."

Everything I build this year either moves toward that or gets cut.

Something about writing on paper made it different. Slower. More intentional.

When you type, your brain goes fast. When you write, you think.

When you think, you get clear on what actually matters.

Start your year with clarity

Written by Shane Parrish and reMarkable, this workbook helps you pause and reflect. Rather than add pressure, it relieves it, bringing clarity to what truly matters.

A simple reset for January. A thoughtful way to review your year.

Try this: 20 minutes. Paper. One question.

"What actually matters?"

Write until you know. Then build toward that.

Drop a reply: What actually matters to you in 2026?

Why AI Isn’t Replacing Affiliate Marketing After All

“AI will make affiliate marketing irrelevant.”

Our research shows the opposite.

Shoppers use AI to explore options, but they trust creators, communities, and reviews before buying. With less than 10 percent clicking AI links, affiliate content now shapes both conversions and AI recommendations.
